Life, what keeps it going?
- Religious views?
- Goal?
- Dream?
But without a feeling of safety
how would someone dare to think so far into the future?
People always ignore the fact that they can die anytime just like how physics ignore wind resistance.
Where does this feeling of safety come from?
Is everyone so certain of when they will die?
Or maybe they simply cling on something called Hope.
Hope. Is that what keeps people living?
Without hope, wouldn't people simply commit suicide? cowering to the fact they are going to die anyway?
Without hope, would people still have the time to think about what they want to achieve?
Seems like Hope is pretty important isnt it?
However Hope, although reassuring, is not certain
Things may happen, things may not
Even with hope, people will die eventually
Even with hope, there are things that can never be accomplished
I believe our surroundings does not matter.
I believe those obstacles does not matter
I believe as long as we have hope and that you trust me
Nothing is impossible.
So promise me you will trust this "hope"
just like how you, me and everyone else trust it, with their life.
Stop letting the future bother you
We can, and we will, change the future.

I have a sudden urge to go back to my past lifestyle.
no, its not that I dislike my current lifestyle.
Maybe I just miss the times of sitting on the computer all the time
waiting for those same people to come online
then hopefully have a decent conversation that will make me a better friend
after all, that was the only way I knew.

Anyway
just in case you find my post boring

I'm gonna put in my side of the story.
so please don't expect fancy pictures :(
Ok
The day started off with my sister wanting bubble tea
so Shevon and I specially went to the city to get her bubble tea
such a troublesome sister, no?
On the bus trip to Murdoch Train Station
the weather was great
sun is high
just a bit of clouds
But this changed after we board the train to Perth City.
across the Swan River, towards the right. (facing Swan River)
we saw huge, dark clouds gathering over the city.
"Just another storm, I love such weathers", I said, "Never went through a natural disaster, wanna get into one"
Bad mistake.
While waiting for the traffic lights to go red, at Northbridge
we looked up and saw dark clouds, moving so fast, its almost as if someone recorded it and played it on "fast forward".
then halfway across the road, it started raining.
huge amount of rainfall, no big deal at first
but right after we reached the entrance of Subway (Northbridge Branch)
its started hailing.
There was so much
more than those I saw last year.
Had a few intervals of small hail and huge hails.
we stood there, outside Subway, where the owner of the shop are kind enough to lock the doors.
it was so cold, we thought
"Might as well run all the way to Utopia, then we can dry ourselves in the toilet"
So thats what we did.
we were like, so as the Chinese saying, Chickens in soup.
After we dried up in Utopia and bought our bubble teas,
the rain stopped.
So we walked all the way to....
the Myer building at the city.
played a few rounds of those grabbing toys thingys

After that
we saw this

And true enough
It started raining heavily by the time we got into Perth Station.
The whole station was flooded with people
mostly those who are going to the Northern side of perth.
The train going back to Mandurah is still on time.
It was about 5pm
and you already cant see whats outside
The whole train trip back was rather slow
guess they didnt wanna move too fast in the rain.
Got to Murdoch safely and took bus 206 back to Shevon's house.
We were lucky in two ways
One, my sister told me Murdoch train station was flooded, probably after we left.
Two, by the time we reached Canning Vale, the rain has stopped.
Later in the evening
I spent a while at Shevon's, before her mum drove me back home.
Power outage is everywhere.
The street lights where out
only thing you see is headlights.
My house, typically, was full of candles.
Mum complained to me how much water leaked in and stuff.
Everything was fine.
Then at 12.15am
My sister's annoying voice called out to me after a loud BOOM
I was, obviously, asleep
but still have to wake up.
The sound came from the guest room
The ceiling was all bend downwards,
almost as if there was a blackhole sucking everything into the center
Then my parents came, took a look
go "OMG"
and yeah.
you probably cant see anything
One side fell down
followed by another.
leaving the wiring of the light bulb hanging there
The kitchen had a bit of swelling, but we didnt dare to touch
mum said shes gonna buy some insurance first.

this is in the morning
So well
School was alright
came back after school to help clear other damages.
this is gone.
we cant even rebuild it.
the metal parts are all bent
lifes good.
yea.
it sure is.

Today was the day, one month after everything starting
To make it a bit more fulfilling, we went to watch the movie Sheovn told me about a few weeks ago
Alice In Wonderland 3D
Went to rest at her house after school
bathed and got changed before heading out to Carousel.
(Saw Arnold at Carousel)
There was nothing to do there
since it was 6pm and all the shops were closed
Bought the 8.30 tickets and went to the Arcade.
For the first time in my life
I saw someone manage to catch a soft toy on the toy grabbing machine.
like, literally, the first time.
Shevon did it.
I was like
D: D: D: D: D:
but yeah, its true
We call that soft toy "shi jiu", or rather, "19" in mandarin.
A way to commemorate the 19th of February.
Then we had ice cream at this ice cream shop.
Forgot the name.
The movie was nice
and the the bus home was on time
we were just too early
so we took alot of pictures.

The Sky
The last weekend has been pretty much full for Shevon
Regular Friday night meet ups :)
And a get-along-time with her family on Sunday :P
Started off meeting them at her house early in the morning
went to the Sunday market at Belmont
then went to a Christian church at Riverton Swimming Complex
Then off to Market City + Canning Vale Sunday markets.
Saw my second uncle shopping there with his family :)
Took a break at Shevon's house till evening
before heading to the house of their friend.
And yea, we made dinner :P
Jelly and (the only dish i know how to cook) Salt & Chilli Prawns + Squid
Fresh from Market City.

I guess I made it a little too salty
but its okay :)
The important point of that day was to get along with her dad
since I think I'm already fine with her mum
not sure if I did a good job
but her dad didnt show any signs of disagreement, so yeah :)
Shevon's mum thought that it was weird for me to prioritize parental agreement
but yeah, I think they still have the rights to know.
hmmm

Apparently I am said to be smart at somethings
coz my lines are fully joined.
cutting my palm into half
that is, of course, only for one hand
She said if both of my hands are like that, it means I'm a genius
one of them = smart enough
I wasnt very convinced about the smart part though
So I went home and asked mum
She said it is true
but there are two possibilities
Either Im super smart
or
super dumb.
I think Ill stick to me being super dumb :D

Just like a seesaw
It only stays at one side, while the other has to hang in the air
I remember when I was young
I would stand at the middle of this wooden plank,
giving different, unbalanced, forces on each of my legs
and try to make it balance on the pivot.
making sure it doesn't favour any side
It was difficult.
but the feeling you get if you succeed is so sweet.
I guess that is the only time I like things to be balanced.
When things are too balanced... both sides lose out
When you are in the middle of two things
and you dont want to favour any side.
You will lose both sides.
Just five months ago
I lost one side because I chose to favour another.
it was bad, painful.
yet deceptive
I believe I can do it.
I believe I can have both sides on par.
I believe I dont have to favour one side over another anymore
Because now,
I am having that same old feeling that I get with the simple old plank.

Yup
it was labour day yesterday
one of the only few holidays you ever get in Australia ==
Went out to some parks with Shevon
well, yea

Well, thats pretty much it
Walk around the regular park
Searched the whole CanningVale to find the special park she saw sometime ago
found it, and it was nice.
Had the swings and stuff
also had the mosquitoes ==
Dinner was take-away from Wok-In-A-Box
Asian restaurant, pretty much commercialized
So its not very asian
No MSG.
but in change, they put a lot of Soy Sauce.
so much that I can taste it almost instantly.
that pretty much concludes the day
If you were hoping for me to tell you about what I did, nope
I mean, there are only certain people that read this blog
and I know EVERY SINGLE ONE of you ^^
so theres no point
ohhh
and Shevon said that if I at least try to patch up old injuries
she would consider letting me munch on her
